OSAGO is a compulsory insurance that protects the property interests of vehicle owners who use their vehicles for transporting goods and passengers. The OSAGO policy guarantees compensation for damages caused to third parties as a result of a road traffic accident for which the policyholder is responsible. The amount of compensation is determined within the limits set by the insurance company.

To obtain an OSAGO policy, the following documents are required:

  1. The passport of the owner and the policyholder (pages 2-3 and 5);
  2. Vehicle Registration Certificate (VRC);
  3. Driver’s licenses of all persons to be included in the policy (both sides);
  4. Previous OSAGO policy (if available).

                              Green Card: International Motor Third-Party Liability Insurance

The Green Card is an international insurance policy that covers the liability of vehicle owners used for transporting goods and passengers when traveling outside the country of registration. The Green Card policy guarantees compensation for damage caused to third parties as a result of a road traffic accident in any of the participating countries. This type of insurance is mandatory for international transportation, providing peace of mind and protection for carriers when traveling abroad.

Important: It is worth noting that the list of countries participating in the Green Card insurance system may change over time. Before planning international trips by car, it is recommended to check the current list of participating countries with your insurance agent.
