Formalization and provision of security for payment of customs duties and taxes when goods are in customs transit across the territory of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> <\/u><\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The Republic of Belarus<\/strong> is a member state of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). Accordingly, the customs transit procedure applies to the transportation of foreign goods through the territory of Belarus: the carrier or the owner of the cargo is required to ensure payment of customs taxes and duties. A financial guarantee must be given that the necessary payments will be made at a later date.<\/p>
