Registration of an electronic transit declaration (ETD) on the territory of the Russian Federation

Since March 2017, international road freight carriers delivering foreign goods across the territory of the Russian Federation have been obliged to submit transit declarations only in electronic form. Since then, Order No. 144n of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation “On Approval of the Procedure for the Use of the Unified Automated Information System of Customs Authorities in Customs Control, Customs Declaration and Release (Refusal to Release) of Goods Placed under the Customs Procedure of Customs Transit in Electronic Form” has come into force.

The electronic transit declaration is submitted using the electronic signature of the customs representative.
