Issuance of electronic advance notification (EPI) on the territory of the Republic of Belarus

Electronic prior notification of customs authorities (EPI) is mandatory when goods are imported into the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries, both by road and rail. The Republic of Belarus is a member of the EAEU and therefore supports the EPI system.

The carrier, freight forwarder or other authorized person sends a notification in advance to the customs authority with detailed information on the transportation and goods imported into the territory of the EAEU. Customs assigns an individual EPI number to the application as confirmation. The system simplifies and speeds up the customs control procedure.
